The Tina Arena Reset Tour comes to Adelaide at Thebarton Theatre on Monday, August 18.
Tina Arena divides her time between Australia, France and the UK, so any visit down under is always welcomed. This multilingual (she can speak English, French and Italian) queen of Australian pop has a versatile resume, including being awarded the Knighthood of the Order of National Merit in 2009 by then President, Nicolas Sarkozy, for her contribution to French culture.
The singer-songwriter-producer is back with her newly released album of original material sung in English titled Reset, and she’s celebrating her achievement with a national tour. The last album of original songs she released was in 2001, titled Just Me, and fans have been eager to hear the songstress flex her vocal chords once more.
Reset is an album of intimate and honest narratives telling the stories of Arena’s life and experiences, featuring a particularly catchy single ‘You Set Fire To My Life’ (below). As Tina says, “I’m incredibly proud of and excited about Reset. It’s my first English album of original material in 10 years and it really captures who I am and where I am at this point in my life. I can’t wait for Australian audiences to hear it.”
