Did anyone see the My Kitchen Rules Cronulla (Episode 20) where the ginormous MKR double kitchen food truck made its dramatic entrance with a cutaway to the contestants who were jaw-droppingly stunned. And no wonder when they had that magnificent view out to the waves breaking off Cronulla beach! It is indeed a magical view and one we never tire of at Rydges Cronulla. The episode had the MKR contestants split into two and compete offering two menus to 100 paying diners who arrived to soak in the view al fresco and sample what was on offer.
But enough about the MKR set up, what about the food? Well, we started with the twice cooked pork belly with pineapple salsa and pork crackling and then moved onto the main of saffron & sofrito infused rice, market seafood, chorizo, peas and roasted peppers and to finish went for the vanilla bean panna cotta with sangria reduction and candied orange.
What? You didn’t see the contestants serve that up on MKR?! Of course not, that’s off our menu in Mundo Latin Grill & Tapas Bar where we can sit on the deck and take in the view any day of the week! Whether you would like an overnight stay, a great meal or just a drink with a view, Rydges Cronulla will give you a warm welcome.
