THE RYDGES POST
Following are the Keith Urban Australian tour dates. Keith might have been Kiwi born but he is one of our favourite sons. Admittedly he moved to Oz with the family when he was just two years old so he did learn how to use all the vowels in alphabet correctly and he did marry our Nicole, which makes him very dear in our hearts. That darn Scientologist Tom Cruise was just wasn’t the right for first lady of the silver screen!
Keith also hasn’t done himself any harm by being an intelligent, caring and insightful judge on TV’s The Voice, being a judge on American Idol and having a huge fan base worldwide for his singing, songwriting and guitar-playing. As well as guitar he can turn his hand to banjo, bass, piano, drums, mandolin, bouzouki and sitar. He’s had 31 singles chart in the US, 15 of them going to number one and he’s touring Australia in June.
Arguably the neatest thing about ‘our Keith’ and ‘our Nic’ is that manage to juggle what appears to be a successful marriage and raise two kids while being at different places on the planet with him touring and TV judging and her making movies and being part of the marketing juggernaut. According to Nicole the romance is alive and well in their relationship even after eight years of marriage – he writes her a love letter for every night they are apart… everybody now: “Awww…”
Here are the dates and venues for the Keith Urban Light the Fuse tour:
