You can catch the heavenly sounds of the renowned Soweto Gospel Choir at the Concourse Concert Hall in Chatswood on Thursday, July 31.

The Soweto Gospel Choir was formed in November, 2002 and a month later they recorded their first album, Voices from Heaven, and it shot to Number One on the US Billboard World Music Chart within three weeks of its release.
The choir has toured the world playing at venues like Carnegie Hall, the Nelson Mandela Theatre and Royal Festival Hall in London as well as appearing at festivals including The Edinburgh Festival, the Hong Kong Festival, the Adelaide Festival and the London Festival.
The choir has won numerous prestigious awards around the world, including the Helpmann Award, a SAMA Award (South African Music Association) and three Grammy Awards and has performed and/or collaborated with such artists as Celine Dion, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, John Legend, Robert Plant, Peter Gabriel, Bono & U2, Queen, Jimmy Cliff, Eddie Grant, Amy Winehouse, Queen Latifah, Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder.
