Taronga Zoo Membership is terrific value if you plan three or more visits in a year – and there’s plenty to justify that and more! The zoo is open every day except Christmas Day from 9:30am.
There are over 4000 animals from 350 species to see and more than 20 keeper talks and shows every day plus tours, events and concerts. The location is stunning with the 180 degree panoramic Sydney Harbour views and it is no wonder the zoo was voted Australia’s number one tourist attraction.
An example of the value – to purchase a day pass for a family (two adults and two children) costs $124.20 and an annual pass costs $270 – an adult day pass costs $46 and a yearly pass costs $115 – so part the way through your third visit for the year you are in front!
Taronga is a not-for-profit organisation that supports wildlife conservation. The zoo believes that through education they can inspire and create behaviour change to support species conservation and habitat preservation. Sadly, many species that call Taronga home are already threatened.
