- Private rooms were absolutely fantastic. - Conference facilities were OK, old room and equipment but overall satisfactory. - Service level was satisfactory - nothing special - the conference room was not set up correctly on day 1 or day 2 (seating incorrect, no speakers, no projector, then when it did turn up nothing was set up for us!! thankfully there was one VERY helpful young man on the Monday evening who was more that willing to assist us get everything ready - thank you - his attitude could be shared with the others). A couple of times the morning and afternoon tea were a bit late, and no one really wanted to help, we felt like and inconvenience when we asked a question. - Disappointing that we had to convince the bar staff to allow us to purchase more drinks on the Tuesday night when we had dinner in the pavilion. No one wanted to help us. Our team was socialising well and despite the fact that we had completed our initial drinks package, we had informed Lauren Read already during event set up that we would continue 'on-consumption' following this. That message was obviously not communicated, you could have made a lot more profit from our group. We hold a lot of conferences across our business every year, so I am purely being honest about our experience at your hotel versus the standard we are used to.

The restaurant was extremely under staffed and obviously poorly managed. After waiting at table for my glass of wine approx. 20-30 minutes, and noticing the frustration on other customers sitting around I decided to cancel my wine and dinner and departed.

room was good for value. Food was excellent on both nights service seemed a bit flustered and missed key requests for dining. Had an unfortunate accident when shower railing collapsed causing my wife to fall in shower floor. After a couple of calls to reception did a person call to see if everything was alright luckily my wife did not injure herself however the lack of urgent attention by the staff was a cause for concern.

Sails is one of my favourite Rydges Hotels great customer service. Restaurant the food is excellent and the staff are fantastic. Rooms are always spotless. Love staying here.

Sails is the best place to stay, newly refurbished with spotless swimming pool and beautiful surroundings. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful, they gave me free upgrade to water view room upon request. My package was great value, with chocolate, free welcome drink, free buffet breakfast, lovely new room. The shower is really good, restaurant staffs are amazing; breakfast is good. I couldn't ask for more, will come back again very soon. Thanks a lot.

Overall excellent. However, frustratingly we could not use the restaurant on our first night as there was a function. Why were we not told this before we came or on arrival? The alternative was room service which was not an acceptable option. Similar happened on the second night. There was a function again. A small section of the restaurant was open, however with a limited menu. Again not acceptable and we were not told this on booking or arrival. In saying that however staff were understanding and the restaurant manager really did well to accommodate us with a slightly improved menu so well done here and to her. Regardless of functions hotel guests must always have access to the restaurant in some form, pushing room service as an alternative is not acceptable especially as guests like us do not like eating in their rooms and we have children too. This is our second stay and we would certainly come back. It will be interesting to see if I get a response to this review!!!

From the beginning upon booking I found staying here a great experience. I liked the self checkin available and was pleased when I asked for a late checkout I was told I could have the room until 1pm. The hotel looks as though it has undergone a major refurbishment and as such it was all brand new furnishings etc. The pool area is magnificent! I loved it so much I have booked again to come back and stay at the end of November.

As beautiful as I hoped as per the website. Room was modern and tasteful, furnishings with elegant touches. Super comfy bed. Luxurious shower. Will be back.

The service in both the Dining Room and Bar areas was seemingly understaffed and therefore the service was slow, keeping in mind we were part of a group of approximately 50. The meals were good however our meal on Sunday night was exceptionally slow.

I was very impressed with the new refit and most of all it was lovely to be greeted by Wendy at the front desk .she has been here a long time and always made me to feel very comfortable at all times great employee .i would highly recommend your hotel to others.

We loved our marina view upstairs room and all the activity on the water, which made our night extra relaxing. Room size was comfortable and King bed divine. Desk very useful as well as ample lighting and balcony setting. All amenities quality and clean. Foyer needs renovating but all new work is to a high standard. Our hot buffet breakfast was yum and an extra special thanks to our waiter, Sam, who was young, attentive and well presented. Well done to management for such quality personnel. Looking forward to returning for a longer stay and an evening meal. We have already posted these comments on TripAdvisor.
