I arrived in Auckland early in the morning after a long flight and they allowed me to check in well before the advertised time. Breakfast was good.

Rydges is a home away from home conveniently located in the city but with small town feel because the staff makes u feel like family. Very comfortable spacious rooms. Very clean . the hotel to me is 5 star. The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate guests. Also the food is very good quality and affordable. Its pretty much in the heart of Auckland with a 5 to 10 min walk to shops and restaurants. I love walking down to queen street for endless shopping! Thank u rydges for your outstanding service!

it was very nice stay in Auckland. The location was perfect, and was not noisy as well. even i arrived at 10 am, my room was ready and i could check in earlier.

Service was really good My partner was on a delayed flight from Wellington (because of high winds flights were cancelled and 2 attempts to land at Auckland because of low cloud and heavy rain). We arrived pretty frazzled at about 9pm. The staff offered to park my car , we were upgraded, we had a bar meal and a couple of drinks to in wind, with 1pm late checkout and a really nice room service breakfast we had a nice time!

I was disappointed to experience a fire evacuation for the second time in a row of staying. Last time 1am this time slightly better at 8am. While I understand these things do happen I waWhen I checked out I asked if they were offering discounts for the disruption to which I was told no. I asked what the reason for the alarm was and was told "it was a false alarm it does that sometimes" I would have thought that if there is a known ongoing fault the company would look to try and fix it to avoid such future disruptions to customers. I was even more disappointed to then find out another person I know checked out moments after me with a different staff member and was offered a 10% discount when they asked. Extremely disappointing snd I will certainly be thinking twice before choosing to stay ago.

Check in and car parking very quick and easy. Staff who met us on arrival were very helpful and cheerfull.

We loved the location. We did the online check in prior to arrival, however it appeared to make no difference. When checking in online we requested a room away from the lift - we were put directly opposite the lift! We also requested to be on the same floor as our friends, however this request was also ignored. The beds were very comfortable.
