Greenmount Homestead

The Cook family built Greenmount Homestead in 1912, and gifted it to to the city of Mackay in 1984.

With several buildings, including a 1915 Queenslander homestead, it stands as a testimony of an era.

Open every day except Saturdays, from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm, Greenmount is a unique way to experience life as it was over a century ago.

Tours are available at other times by appointment.
