Scotchmans Hill
Established in 1982, Scotchmans Hill is located in the heart of the Bellarine Peninsula. A producer of premium cool maritime climate wines, Scotchmans Hill has been a leading local winery for over thirty years and is rated among James Halliday’s Top 100 Australian Wineries. Bellarine Peninsula grown labels include Cornelius, Scotchmans Hill and Swan Bay.
This immaculately maintained vineyard overlooks Port Phillip Bay, and the wines are a true reflection of this environment.
Enjoy the magnificent views across Port Phillip Bay to Melbourne with a glass of wine in the sunlit courtyard. Although there is no restaurant on-site, visitors can enjoy the fabulous wines, location and views; perhaps bring a hamper and while away a few hours.
The Scotchmans Hill winery offers the full range of estate grown wines for tasting – including the exclusive single vineyard Cornelius wines – for $5 per person. This fee is refundable with any take home wine purchase.
Scotchmans Hill transcends old-world, traditional cellar door experiences. Drive out to the Bellarine and along a dirt road and you will stumble across the cottage-like cellar door with blissful rose bushes, a stunning outlook and old fashioned country hospitality.
Scotchmans Hill is open 7 days.
