Ebor Falls

No one visiting Armidale or the New England region should leave without a trip to Ebor Falls. This spectacular tiered waterfall is on the Guy Fawkes River and is approximately 80 kilometres east of the Powerhouse Hotel Armidale by Rydges. Getting there is all part of the fun as well. You can use the famous Waterfall Way for the majority of the journey, turning off at Ebor Falls Road.

For nature lovers, adventurers or those looking to simply get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Ebor Falls is a must-see. There are lookout platforms that let you admire the waterfalls, providing you with spectacular views of the gorge.

It’s also a great area for walking, hiking and birdwatching, with a particularly good walking track linking the upper and lower falls. This walk is relatively easy as well, so is suitable for the whole family. The falls are a great place to visit at all times of the year, and in the summer months blossom with rare orchid flowers and golden daisies.
