Ian and Suzanne Little established The Little Wine Company in 2000 with the stated goal of exploring alternative varietals. For 25 years they have stayed true to this vision, and their pioneering role has earned them a reputation for producing high quality, small batch wines that embrace innovation while respecting tradition.

From humble beginnings to a wide and loyal following of trade and consumers throughout Australia, they currently produce approximately 4,000 cases across their portfolio.

2025 Albarino – When first crushed, Albarino appears quite neutral, but during fermentation vibrant fruit salad aromatics emerge. Bottled early with no oak influence, it retains its bright fruit intensity and signature dry, saline finish.
2025 Vermentino – We’ve been making Vermentino from the Upper Hunter since 2013, developing a house style that embraces the variety’s natural texture. The wine combines French oak, natural fermentation and batonnage, balanced with stainless steel fermentation to retain freshness.
2021 Tempranillo – Elegant and fruit-forward rather than heavy or extracted, an early-drinking yet cellar-worthy expression (7-12 years) that highlights Tempranillo’s bright red fruit character and the lighter, more refined side of the Hunter Valley.
