Blackbutt Reserve
Occupying over 182 hectares of natural bushland, the Blackbutt Reserve provides visitors with the opportunity to enjoy nature trails, wildlife exhibits, children’s playgrounds or simply relax in a relaxing setting.
The Reserve is the perfect place to explore the wonders of nature with its peaceful picnic settings and the diverse range of habitats and ecosystems.
You will be able to view the various native animals on display from up-close, and the helpful signage along the boardwalk (wheelchair and pram friendly) provide an opportunity to observe the fauna and learn about each species.
Wildlife exhibits are open from 10 am to 4.30 pm (closed Christmas Day, Good Friday and after 1pm ANZAC Day). Picnic facilities during daylight savings are available from 7 am to 7 pm.
