Introducing CoastXP, a premier Hunter Coast adventure boat experience!

Ocean Enthusiast Dominic May and his team operate coastal sightseeing, Encounter Whale Watching (Jun – Nov) and Adventure Tours (Nov-May) from Newcastle Harbour showcasing the breathtaking coastline of Newcastle and Lake Macquarie from a custom built vessel.

Tours focus on the marine life which inhabit the coastline, local geology, First Nations’ heritage as well as unique destination landmarks including wrecks, cliffs, islands, sea caves and ships.

Encounter Tour

The Encounter Tour is a nature-based CoastXP immersion experience. The tour focuses closely on the annual Humpback Whale (Megaptera Novaeangliae) migration between the months of June and November each year.

Adventure Tour

The Adventure Tour is the premier offshore experience showcasing the iconic Hunter coastline. Sit back and enjoy the coastal scenery making sure to wave to the resident dolphins, seabirds, turtles and other marine life. 

Cruising 30kms down the coast to Caves Beach and Catherine Hill Bay, a unique way to view the working harbour, coastal fronts and surfing beaches. 

Highlights include:
