Directions

If travelling from Sydney by road, Canberra is six hours away. From Melbourne allow for 7-8 hours as times may vary depending on road conditions through the Alpine region.

Canberra is just two hours away by air and there are flights to/from Canberra from most major centers. The airport has plenty of vehicle hire options, along with public transport and shuttle buses.

Snowy Mountains Airport in Cooma is a popular option during ski season. Driving from Cooma turn south-west onto the Snowy Mountains Highway and follow for 23km. Then turn onto Kosciuszko Road and follow for 27km to Jindabyne. Horizons Lake Jindabyne is just through town.
