Guided Walks

There is a variety of guided walks available. Guests can chose from the moderately paced family oriented hikes, like the Kosciuszko Summit Hike, to hikes that take you through the high, windswept regions among the tallest peaks in the country; such as the Townsend Hike. There is no better way to get to know our high country, with its beautiful wild flowers, unique landscapes and stunning, rugged peaks than to get amongst them with a knowledgeable guide leading the way.
Self Guided Walks

With tons of glacial lakes, unique flora and fauna plus mountains as far as the eye can see, it’s a must do whilst visiting Thredbo throughout summer.

Village & Informational Hikes
Thredbo has developed a series of self-guided walks that give you a deeper look into the resort. These walks take you through the history of Thredbo, the art works around the village, a memorial journey, the ecology of Thredbo and caring for Thredbo’s fragile environment.
Throughout Thredbo you will find a selection of sculptures and many wonderful original paintings and prints. This self-guided tour allows you to discover and admire these works at your own pace.
