A stone’s throw away from Melbourne Park is the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground, otherwise known as the MCG. One of the city’s most iconic sites, the MCG is the home of Australian Cricket and the AFL. The G was also the site of the 1956 Olympics and 2006 Commonwealth Games.

Docklands is the proud home of Etihad Stadium, the second playing ground for Melbourne-based AFL matches and also a venue for cricket, domestic and international soccer matches, as well as live performances.
