Today, the popular restaurant at Rydges Rotorua is famed for its daily buffet. From fresh salads and seafood to succulent roasts and mouth-watering desserts, there’s always room for more on your plate when you’re dining with us.

Play Zone:

A kids paradise, Play Zone is our dedicated room for families to enjoy, with entertainment for kids of all ages open every weekend and school holidays from 8am – 9:30pm.  Packed with engaging games like Table Tennis, Foosball, Air Hockey, Nintendo Switch with games for kids 5 – 10 years old and Xbox for kids 10 -13 years old, plus toys and lots of fun, it offers great extra space for the family to let off some steam! Besides Play Zone, families can unlock entry discounts to many of Rotorua’s family-friendly attractions with our exclusive VIK (Very Important Kids) program.

Heated outdoor swimming pool and hot pools:

Craving refreshment a dip? Dive into the morning or unwind after a day of adventuring at our heated outdoor swimming pool and hot pools. The year-round natural heating means the water is always the perfect temperature.

Gym:

The Rydges Rotorua gym means you can build up a sweat, get your body moving and keep up your at-home routine while you’re on the road. Whether you’re getting up your step count, pumping the iron or stretching out your legs, you’ll find everything you need to keep your mind, body and spirit in great shape.

Mountain biking facilities:

The perfect base for Redwood Forest and Waipa Mountain Biking Park, Rotorua is a dream come true for cyclists. And with a dedicated bike washing station that features a hosing area and bike racks for drying, as well as a specific mountain bike repair station we’re here to make your favourite pastime as easy as can be. There’s also a secure storage area inside the hotel so that you can sleep easily at night.

Guest laundry:

Make use of the two guest laundries on-site to refresh your suitcase and keep your clothes smelling as fresh as can be. For a $4 wash or dry, swing by the reception to pick up your machine tokens. The laundry detergent is on us.

Lobby shop:

From the moment you start your journey back home, you’ll be enthralled by the memories of your time in Rotorua. At the Lobby Shop, you can find a wide range of New Zealand crafts and souvenirs to help you remember your trip
