The 300m stretch of white sandy beach is perfect for swimming, although it is unpatrolled and the Indian Ocean provides a much welcomed breeze, especially during the hot summer months of November – February. It is very popular with both locals and visitors with many people frequenting it for their daily swim! It is also a beautiful spot to watch the sunset.
