Visit websiteThe heritage shopping arcade in the central business district is L – shaped connecting Collins street at the south end to Elizabeth street on the west. Designed by architect David C in 1891, he was given the brief to create something similar to Galleria Vittorio Emanuele in Milan. Resulting in Melbourne’s most richly decorated interior spaces. Complete with mosaic titled flooring, glass canopy, wrought iron and carved stone finishing. The exterior facade of the six story building has identical facades on Collins and Elizabeth Street.
