The Southern Cross Gala Ballroom at the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle by Rydges is a large and versatile function space located on the ground floor. This grand space has no pillars, six metre high ceilings and neutral tones; it is a blank canvas for you to create any event you desire.
The Southern Cross Gala Ballroom can be separated into three distinctive function rooms – the Orion, Pleiades and Sirius Rooms – by closing the moveable walls, creating the flexibility and functionality needed for many events. If you are searching for a large function room in Fremantle to host your next event, the Southern Cross Gala Ballroom is the perfect fit for gala dinners, themed events, theatre and classroom style conferences, exhibitions and weddings.
For large weddings in Fremantle the Southern Cross Gala Ballroom’s size and elegance provide an impressive setting with plenty of room for a dance floor, band, stage and anything else your heart desires. The function space is adjacent to the Southern Cross Lobby which is perfect for pre-dinner drinks.
For exhibitions and large conferences, the Southern Cross Gala Ballroom has street level access to Collie Street through three large double doors which makes bump-in and bump-out easy. For larger events the Southern Cross Gala Ballroom can be combined with the Indian Ocean Suite across the lobby.
All of the function rooms at the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle have access to state-of-the-art audio visual equipment and the AV Partners team will be on hand to ensure your event runs smoothly. The Southern Cross Gala Ballroom also multiple built-in, drop-down screens and projectors as well as pin spot lighting and more (additional fees may apply).
