Local Vineyards

Bago Vineyards and Maze

Located in New South Wales, about half way between Sydney and Brisbane, Bago Vineyards and Maze is an easy drive from either capital on the Pacific Highway. Drive through towering eucalypt forest, which opens out to rolling countryside and acres of vines. Perched high on the hill, the Winery and Cellar Door overlook the Bago Vineyards and Maze, making it the ideal spot to sit and take in the scenery.

We are a family friendly venue with plenty of room for the kids to run around on the grass- or you can lost them in the Bago Maze. The region is renowned for its beautiful weather and scenery, while facilities and accommodation for tourists is plentiful. Bago Vineyards and Maze is open from 9.30am – 5pm, 7 days a week (closed Christmas Day).  Last entry to the Maze is at 4pm each day.

Cassegrain Winery

Cassegrain Wines is the perfect way to enjoy beautiful scenery and some of the best wine that NSW has to offer. The Cassegrain Winery features extensive grounds, a formal ground with picnic areas, and over 2,000 rose bushes lining the entrance to the winery making it an ideal picnicking spot.

Douglas Vale Vineyard

In the centre of Port Macquarie on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, a unique historic tourist attraction has been developed by the local community to bring back and interpret the last remaining fabric of a successful wine industry of the 1800’s.

In 1863 the Vineyard was planted with Isabella Vines by George Francis and family. The Isabella Vine has a long history and questionable origin. There are various accounts of it having originated in the United States in the North and South Carolinas, New England, and the region around New York. It was introduced into Europe before 1830, where it was extensively cultivated for the production of wine. Today in Australia the Isabella vine is rare. Douglas Vale is one of only a handful of vineyards producing port from this grape.

Innes Lake Vineyards & Little Fish Cafe

Set in the truly beautiful surroundings of Innes Lake Vineyards, Little Fish Cafe is a most popular destination for lunch as well as morning teas. The menu is contemporary and changes regularly.

Located Only eight minutes west of Port Macquarie. It is a fabulous destination for a wonderful, unforgettable experience, with plenty of parking and lots of space for large group bookings and for the kids to run around on the open lawn areas.

Planted in 1988, Innes Lake wines were immediately well received, winning medals at the Hunter Valley Wine Show. The Charley family have owned the property known as Innes Lake for nearly 100 years and have been engaged in timber milling and fruit growing activities in that time. On this land Major Innes planted vines over 160 years ago. The range includes: Semillon, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Cabernet Merlot, Mist & Tawny Port, as well as two wines bottled under the Little Fish label – Summer White and Summer Red.
