The most memorable walks are those framed by stunning views – my local tip is to take a walk down to the Jezzine Barracks and up the goat track for stunning 360 degree views of the East Coast of Australia. What was once an army defence outpost with cannons (which are still there) allow a historical tour of war time Australia and modern indigenous artwork to marvel at. Don’t forget to stroll down the suspended timber deck down to the beaches and marvel at the coastal beauty of Pallarenda, with sweeping views out to Magnetic and Palm Islands.
