At Rydges Newcastle we are lucky enough to have Newcastle Ocean Baths just a 20-minute stroll along our beautiful harbour & foreshore; Sitting on our pristine coastline it is open year-round for the community to enjoy. Newcastle Ocean baths was originally opened in 1922 and has in 2023 been fully refurbished allowing for the perfect mix of swimming in Ocean water and a safe environment for all levels of swimmer.

In addition to the city’s vibrant attractions, Rydges Newcastle is the ideal base to discover what the greater Hunter Region has to offer.
