Sydney is filled with lots of hidden treasures including some pretty cool markets scattered around the city and surrounding suburbs.

The Grounds Markets are on the first Saturday of each month at the Grounds of Alexandria which is located just around the corner from the Hotel and feature the best in fresh produce. At the monthly market you’ll find freshly baked bread, just-cut flowers by Garlands, raw organic honey by Maya Sunny Honey and a baby animal farm from 10am. It’s perfect for the whole family and can make a very special day out, be sure to get there early to avoid the crowds.

The Green Square Markets are located in the Green Square Precinct, at Joynton Park. It is is a new weekly Artisan market which offers something unique and exciting to South Sydney. The  markets are held each Saturday from 9am to 2pm and include fresh produce, great food and innovative products. There will also be events for kids, live music and other entertainment as the weeks progress.

The Kings Cross Organic Food & Farmers Market are held every Saturday morning from 9am to 2pm. The offer certified and conventional fruit & veg, dips, bread, cheese, plants, juices, gözleme, the BEST egg and bacon rolls, coffee, gözleme, cakes and much more in a social setting in Fitzroy Gardens.

The Rocks Markets are open every Saturday and Sunday all year round and feature over 200 eclectic stalls, all set amid the sandstone and cobbles. Visitors from near and far come to find fashion and accessories by emerging designers, locally-produced homewares, linen and beauty products and original photography, art, crafts and jewellery.

Paddington Markets have been in operation since 1973, they are on every Saturday from 10am… rain, hail or shine been open since 1973! It started as a market to encourage local fashion designers, craftspeople, jewellery makers and artists, the market has over 150 unique stalls filled with creative fashion and accessories, beautiful smelling soaps and candles and pictures that inspire. You will not find these Australian designed and crafted products in any shopping mall and many of our products are exclusive to Paddington Markets.

Lonely Hunter Markets are held in Newtown on the last Saturday of every month. More than a regular pub market, Lonely Hunter is a confetti explosion of carefully curated stallholders. You can expect a host of independent and handmade fashion, jewellery, illustration, stationery, homewares and more.
