Airport Transfers & Parking

Our Sydney airport accommodation is located at the Sydney International Terminal and just 181 steps to the check-in counters, a short 10-minute journey to the domestic airport with FREE transfers and less than 15 minutes to Sydney’s city centre.

Transfers to and from the Domestic airport are available via the free T-Bus service, public bus, train, super shuttle bus and car. Discounted parking is also available for hotel guests.

Domestic Airport Transfers

By T-Bus (COMPLIMENTARY)

The T-Bus is run by Sydney Airport. The first complimentary T-Bus service departs the T1 International and T2/T3 Domestic Terminals at 5:30am. Buses will then run at 30-minute intervals every day of the week, with the last bus service departing the T1 International and T2/T3 Domestic Terminals at 21:30pm. The journey takes approximately 10 minutes.

By Train

Trains run daily between 4:30 am and 12:00 am between the Domestic and International Airport Terminals. The train journey is approximately 2 minutes between the terminals.

You can purchase a ticket, opal card or simply tap your contactless credit or debit cards, or linked device.

By Bus (Number 400 and 420)

Public buses run daily between 5:00 am and 1:15 am from outside the hotel. The 400 and 420 buses allow passengers to easily travel between the International Terminal T1 and Domestic Terminals T2 and T3. When you get off the bus T2 will be in front of you. To get to T3 you will need to cross the car park. Public bus transfers take between 10 and 15 mins.

Cost: Approx $1.60 off-peak and $3.20 during peak hours (one way, per person).

By Super Shuttle

Rydges Sydney Airport uses an external provider for transport; we can recommend Super Shuttle; they are affordable at $12.00 per person for a one-way transfer to the International or Domestic Airport. The pick-up point for the super shuttle is at the horseshoe bend between Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 at the Domestic Airport.

Arriving at Domestic Airport (Pick up available from 6:50 AM to 23:10).

You must call the Super Shuttle number (02) 9697 2322 after you have collected your luggage. The shuttle will drop you outside the hotel entrance. You will be charged upon check-in at the hotel.

From Rydges Sydney Airport to Domestic Airport (Pick up available from 5:05 AM to 21:45).

By Taxi

Hotel guests may be dropped off and picked up from the entrance at Rydges Sydney Airport. Our reception team can call you a taxi. There is also a taxi rank at the international airport.

Taxis to the Domestic Terminal are between $15 to $25 one way.

By Car

Guests can be dropped-off and picked-up from the entrance Rydges Sydney Airport.

International Airport Transfers

By foot

Rydges Sydney Airport is located 181 steps from the International Airport check-in counters. The hotel is across the street from the international airport. The hotel is directly across from the shuttle bay area, near the public car park entry.

Exit Rydges Sydney Airport and turn right, walk along the footpath. Cross at the Pedestrian crossing and you will see the International airport entrance on your right.

No other form or transport is required to go to the International airport from the hotel owing to our proximity to the terminal.

Sydney City

By Train

Trains run daily between 4:30 am and 12:00 am between the International Airport train station and the city. The international airport is across the street from the hotel and the train station is located inside the international airport. The train journey to the city (Central Station) is approximately 11 minutes. Train tickets to the city cost about $18 one way.

By Bus (Number 400 and 420)

Public buses run daily between 5:00 am and 1:15 am from outside the hotel. You can take the 400 and 420 bus from opposite the hotel to Mascot Station and transfer to a train to the city. The entire journey will take about 45 mins. The journey will cost approximately $6 to $ 8 per person. The easiest way to pay for your journey is to tap your contactless credit or debit cards, or linked device.

By Taxi

Hotel guests may be dropped off and picked up from the entrance at Rydges Sydney Airport. Our reception team can call you a taxi. There is also a taxi rank at the international airport.

Taxis to the city will cost approximately $35 to $40 one way.

By Car

Guests can park in P7, which is the international terminal parking lot, located behind the hotel. A car journey to the city from the hotel will take about 15-40 mins depending on traffic.

Traffic changes to Airport connectivity

  • Vehicles going west will be directed onto new Airport Drive and over the already opened Twin Arch Bridge. The new Airport Drive will provide a connection between the International and Domestic Terminals. Signage and on-road-labels will be installed to guide road users wanting to access the International Terminal.
  • Freight travelling in both directions will access Sydney Airport international freight terminal from the new Link Road connection near the Twin Arch Bridges.

Parking

Parking is available to Hotel guest at the Sydney International Airport Terminal parking station (P7 only), located directly behind the hotel.

Hotel guests receive *50% OFF on parking overnight parking, only for the nights you stay with us. The discount is applicable for parking between three and 24 hours.

On-site parking validation is required at the Hotel reception. On departure, present ticket to Reception to validate the parking.

Parking Ticket Discount Validation Steps:

  1. Enter P7 car park and obtain parking ticket.
  2. Keep your parking ticket safely with you.
  3. At the end of your stay, present your ticket to Reception for discount validation.
  4. Once your ticket is validated you have 10 minutes to go to a pay station to finish processing remaining balance.

  • Airport car parking (P7) is owned and operated by Sydney Airport Corporation Ltd.
  • Hotel guests can claim a 50% discount on airport parking tickets (P7) for stays greater than 3 hours.
  • Parking tickets may only be discounted at time of check out or departure from hotel and are only valid for 10 minutes. For any additional parking needs subsequent to your stay at the hotel, this will be at your own cost and no discount will apply.
  • No pre-bookings for parking available through Rydges Sydney Airport.
